Opening Tip
• Following a 10-day hiatus, the Aggies will be back in action on Tuesday afternoon as they host the Arizona-based SAGU American Indian College Warriors in the Pan American Center.
• Carrying a 3-6 record into the contest, NM State will look to return to the win column in its final contest ahead on WAC play.
• This will be the first all-time meeting between the Aggies and Warriors.
• Despite falling in the previous two games, the Aggies have only lost by a combined six points, including a four-point overtime loss to UTEP on Dec. 15.
• The year has included plenty of nail biters as the Aggies still maintain a positive scoring margin with a 3-6 record on the year.
• Head Coach Brooke Atkinson has her team in attack mode as the Aggie defense averages 18.2 forced turnovers per game to rank tied for fourth in the conference in that category.
• Offensively, the duo of Bigue Sarr and Taylor Donaldson have been two of the most efficient scorers in the WAC as Sarr has a field goal percentage of 53.5 to rank sixth in the league and Donaldson ranks ninth (.521). NM State is joined by Utah Valley as the only two schools in the WAC with two players inside the top-nine in field goal percentage in the conference.
