Houston Bradeson Named Video Analyst

| By:

Bradeson joins NM State following a stint at Gonzaga University.

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – As the summer rolls on, NM State makes new additions to the coaching staff ahead of the 2026-27 season. Head Coach Adeniyi Amadou has announced the hiring of Houston Bradeson as the Aggies' new video analyst.

"I am extremely grateful and honored to join New Mexico State Women's Basketball as the program's Video Analyst. I want to thank Coach Adeniyi and the entire coaching staff for this incredible opportunity", said Bradeson. "Being able to join a staff that is beginning a new era together is something special, and I am eager to help contribute to the vision and direction of the program.

Throughout my basketball journey, I have developed a passion for video analysis, scouting, and player development. This role provides an opportunity to continue growing in those areas while working alongside coaches and student-athletes who are committed to pursuing excellence every day.

I am excited to get to work and embrace the challenge of helping build a championship program in Las Cruces. Go Aggies!"

"Houston possesses a strong work ethic and meticulous organizational skills. He is already doing a nice job operating all facets of our basketball video operations", said NM State Head Coach Adeniyi Amadou.

"Video is an essential part of our program from a self-scouting, opponent scouting and recruiting standpoint. For that reason I wanted to hire a future coach in this role. Houston Bradeson is just that.

Over the last couple of months, I have built a relationship with him and have experienced his character. There is depth in him that is hard to describe, but you feel it when you are with him.

He has an appetite for growth with a crystal-clear understanding of my vision for the program. In time, he will be a terrific asset to our program."

Bradeson spent the previous two seasons as a graduate assistant with the Gonzaga University Women's Basketball program. The Bulldogs amassed 48 wins across the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons, with a WBIT quarterfinals appearance in '24-'25 and a West Coast Conference Tournament championship – along with the program's 16th NCAA tournament appearance – this past spring.

In his role, Bradeson worked closely with coaches and staff to break down film, produce scouting reports, recruiting organization & planning, along with other in-game & operational duties, including player development, logistical planning, matchup management, and play call tracking.

Between 2025-2026, Bradeson had also been a graduate assistant in the Physical Education department at Gonzaga, providing undergraduate students with a progressive sequence of skills and activities designed to offer a basic understanding of fitness, conditioning and weight training, while also guiding students through personalized fitness regimens.

Previously, Bradeson also worked with the Solano Mudcats Baseball Club, a summer collegiate baseball team in the Bay Area Collegiate League. During his time in Vacaville, he organized game day operations logistics, worked as the official scorekeeper for Mudcat home games and operated the TrackMan and Pointstreak analytical statistical systems, along with other duties as assigned by the President of the Solano Mudcats Baseball Club.

Hailing from Vacaville, Calif., Bradeson earned his Bachelor of Education in Sport Management, with a minor in history from Gonzaga University in 2024, and most recently earned a Master of Arts in Sports and Athletic Administration from GU in the spring of 2026.
