@NMStateWBB Returns Home for Pair of Games

Aggies ready to take on Western New Mexico and Weber State.

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State women's basketball team returns to the Pan American Center for a pair of home games against Western New Mexico on Wednesday, Dec. 4, at 6 p.m. and Weber State on Saturday, Dec. 7, at 1 p.m.

Where to Watch
Fans unable to attend this games have a number of viewing options. Both games are streaming live on the WAC Digital Network but Wednesday's broadcast is video only. Saturday's game is also set to broadcast live on FOX Sports Arizona, FOX Sports West, FOX Sports Southwest-Plus, FOX College Sports Pacific and Comcast New Mexico.

Scouting the Mustangs
Western New Mexico is 3-2 overall and competes in the DII Lone Star Conference. The two teams last met during the 2017-18 season when the Aggies beat WNMU 89-60 in the Pan American Center.
 
The Broncos average 66.4 points per game and are led by Alicia Mardis who is averaging 12.4 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. Alexis Jones also averages double-figures at 11.2 points per game and is also tied for the team lead in steals (12). Western New Mexico has shot the ball well this season, shooting at a .432 clip from the field and a .374 clip behind the arc.
 
A Look at Weber State
Weber State sits at 1-4 overall and is coming off a win at UC Riverside on Nov. 24. The Wildcats are slated to take on UTEP on Thursday, Dec. 5, before heading to Las Cruces.
 
The Wildcats have struggled on both sides of the ball, averaging 52.4 points per game while giving up 77.4 points per game. However, Weber State has shot the ball well from three, sitting at 32.1-percent for the season. Only one Wildcat averages double-figure scoring, Ula Chamberlin at 12.0 points per game.
