TOREROS COME TO TOWN
Wednesday's meeting between the Aggie and Toreros will be just the second time the two programs have squared off against each other. The first meeting came last season in San Diego, a 56-51 victory for New Mexico State.

USD opened the year on a tear, winning its first five contests – including a 72-62 victory over Grand Canyon on the road. Since then, the Toreros have dropped their last two games to San Diego State (66-57) at home and UC Santa Barbara (67-57) on the road.

San Diego is paced by Isaiah Pineiro, who is averaging a team best 14.6 points with 6.3 rebounds. Olin Carter III is second on the team with 13.6 points per game and also leads the team in 3-point field-goals made with 20. Isaiah Wright rounds out the list of players averaging in double figures for USD with 13.1 points per game and 6.0 rebounds per game.

The Toreros are shooting a pretty high percentage as a team with a .432 shooting clip. USD's opponents are shooting just 23.7-percent from 3-point range, which is fourth-best in the country. The 60.9 points per game for USD foes rank 13th in the country.

IN THE NATION
Through games on Dec. 4, New Mexico State is ranked third in the NCAA with a 12.6 rebounding margin. Individually, Jemerrio Jones is third in the country with 4.71 offensive boards per game and eighth in rebounds per game (11.9). He is also tied for 24th in the nation with four double-doubles.

NM State's five-game win-streak is currently tied with eight other schools for nation's 18th longest win-streak.

LAST TIME OUT
A double-double from Jemerrio Jones coupled with another big offensive night from AJ Harris saw NM State fend off Prairie View A&M 69-57 this past Sunday. Jones finished with a game-high 18 points and 12 rebounds for his fourth-double of the season. Harris' 17 points was one point shy of tying his career-high of 18 points – which he set against UTEP last week.

NM State also broke the double-digit barrier for the first time this season in steals with 11. It was also the third-straight game the Aggies held opponents to single-digits in assists.

UP NEXT
NM State hits the road this Saturday for its final rivalry game of the season as head coach Chris Jans looks to make it a clean sweep when his team takes on New Mexico at 7 p.m. (MT) this Saturday, Dec. 9.
