Wick joined the Aggie staff in the spring of 2024 and will serve as the Aggies’ primary offensive analyst entering the 2024 campaign.
Ahead of his move to Las Cruces, Wick spent the 2023 season at Ventura College in Ventura, Calif., where he led the running back group. In his lone year with the Pirates, they posted an 8-4 overall record and a 6-1 record in conference play and averaged 227.2 yards per game on the ground. Wick also spent time as the running backs coach at Moorpark College in Moorpark, Calif., during the 2022 season.
Prior to beginning his coaching career, Wick was a standout running back at Wyoming and eventually earned opportunities in the Canadian Football League with the BC Lions and Edmonton Eskimos.
Wick’s professional career followed a stellar five-year career with the Cowboys – playing from 2012-16. During his time in Laramie, Wyo., Wick racked up 2,533 rushing yards which still ranks seventh in program history. In total, Wick tallied 21 rushing touchdowns while adding another three receiving touchdowns. He also averaged 4.9 yards per carry while appearing in 49 games for the Cowboys.
