2025 (Junior): Saw action in a pair of games for NM State... against No. 5 USC (Aug. 24), faced six shots while recording two saves. 

2024 (Sophomore): Missed season due to injury. 

2023 (Freshman): Made eight appearances and seven starts for the Crimson & White in her freshman campaign… Recorded three saves in her first collegiate start against Arizona State (8/24)… Tallied back-to-back clean sheets against Cal State Fullerton (8/27) and UIW (8/31)… Tied her career-high in saves (6) against New Mexico (9/10)… Finished the season with 25 total saves and a 1.79 GAA. 

Before NM State: Earned a silver medal with her team at the 2022 Candada Games. 

Personal: Majoring in English. 

Before NM State: Hughes was named to the Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) 5A All-Conference Second Team in 2025-26 following a season that saw her record 172 saves to just 12 goals allowed... also named 5A All-Sonoran Region First Team and Region Player of the Year... 3x 5A Region First Team... also played basketball in HS. 

Personal: Intends to major in biology.
