Mike Marquardt joined NM State Football in February 2025 as an offensive analyst, working specifically with the running backs while assisting with recruiting and scouting operations. He arrived in Las Cruces after spending two years with the University of Illinois football program in a student assistant role, gaining experience in offensive preparation and personnel evaluation. A graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Marquardt is originally from Chicago, Illinois. His brother, DJ, previously worked at NM State from 2022–23 and now serves on the football staff at Texas A&M.
