Aggies Drop Road Match to UC Davis

NM Stated claimed doubles point but struggled in singles action.

NM State 1, UC Davis 4
NM State opened the match with a strong performance in doubles. Tobias Wallin and Gustavo Campos earned a 7-5 victory at No. 1, while Holland Snell and Matias Rojas clinched the point with a 7-5 win at No. 3. However, UC Davis responded in singles play, winning four straight matches to secure the team victory. Rithvik Katpelly dominated on court four with a 6-3, 6-0 win over Rojas, while Perry DiGiulio added a 6-4, 6-1 victory against Patrick Lohmann at No. 6.

Despite a hard-fought effort, NM State's Itay Feigin and Tobias Wallin suffered tough losses in competitive matches. Feigin forced a third set at No. 1 before falling 6-2, 4-6, 6-2 to Ryan Torres, while Wallin battled to a second-set tiebreaker but ultimately fell 6-3, 7-6 (10-6) to Lucas Bollinger. Two matches remained unfinished when UC Davis clinched the win, including Snell's back-and-forth battle on court three, where he led 2-0 in the third set.
