Aggies Head to Tulsa for a Three Match Weekend

NM State looks to build on a 3-0 finish last week in Lubbock.

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Fresh off a dominant 3-0 weekend in Lubbock, the Aggies now set their sights on Oklahoma for another challenging road stretch, featuring a doubleheader against Tulsa and a matchup with Illinois State. 

NM State opens the trip on Friday, Feb. 7, with back-to-back battles against Tulsa at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Following a day of rest, the Aggies will remain in Tulsa to take on Illinois State on Sunday, Feb. 9, before returning to Las Cruces to continue their spring campaign. 

LAST TIME OUT

NM State delivered a flawless weekend in Lubbock, going 3-0 and capping it off with a 4-2 win over Lubbock Christian to improve to 5-6 on the spring season. The Aggies set the tone early in doubles play, as Holland Snell and Matias Rojas dominated their matchup with a 6-1 win, followed by Lance Urlaub and Roko Stipetic securing the doubles point with a 6-2 victory. In singles action, NM State maintained its momentum with three straight-set wins - Tobias Wallin and Snell each posted commanding 6-2, 6-3 victories, while Urlaub sealed the sweep with a 6-4, 6-2 win. Riding the momentum of their perfect weekend, the Aggies now turn their focus to Tulsa, where they will look to build on their success in another competitive road test.
