CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – After a weekend at home, NM State travels to the coast of The Lone Star State where they will play a pair of matchups in the longest running tournament in the country – the H-E-B Tournament of Champions.
Competing at the H-E-B Tennis Center, the Aggies will matchup against the host, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, on Friday at 4 p.m. MT before lining up versus UT Arlington on Saturday at Noon MT. For the Aggies, this marks the ninth consecutive season that they participate in the Islanders' tournament.
NM State enters the weekend with some momentum after collecting a pair of wins on Tuesday to move to 4-3 during the fall season. In singles, the Aggies are led by sophomore Patrick Lohman who holds a 5-2 record in singles play, including a perfect 2-0 record at the No. 6 spot for
Carlos Vargas and the Aggies.
In doubles play, the grouping of
Gustavo Campos and
Tobias Wallin has found its stride as they hoist a team-best 5-2 record and are currently riding a three-match win streak.

Following a weekend in Texas, NM State will travel to Tucson, Ariz., where they will face off with Arizona in a doubleheader on Sunday, Feb. 25.
