LAS CRUCES, N.M. – NM State wrapped up the regular season with a Senior Day matchup on Sunday against Grand Canyon at the NM State Tennis Center. After three hours of action, GCU defeated the Aggies 7-0.
 
DOUBLES

• Seniors Bella Nguyen and Miranda Bishard nearly battled back to defeat Anali Kocevar and Madeline Lamoreaux, however, the duo ultimately fell 7-5 but would be the Aggie duo with the best showing in doubles action.

SINGLES

• In singles, Anna Pinaieva, Lisa Zhu and Dora Kordi each split their opening two sets to force a tiebreaker or third set, yet the Lopes would get the best of the Aggies in all six singles matches.

NM State will now prepare to take on the field in the WAC Tournament in Arlington, Texas, beginning Thursday, April 27. With the loss, the Aggies will be the No. 6 seed in the tournament and will battle with the No. 3 seed at Noon (CT) on the opening day of the tournament.
