• The Aggies hit the road for the first time since Jan. 19 as they head to the Sin City for a pair of matches against host UNLV and Idaho State on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
• NM State will look to bounce back after falling 6-1 to New Mexico in its most recent outing. Against the Lobos,
Lisa Zhu claimed the Aggies' lone victory of the match.
•.Zhu continues to serve as the Aggies' top singles player this season as the win on Saturday marked her fifth of the season and helped her move to 5-1 at the No. 2 position.
• Meanwhile,
Miranda Bishard,
Natsuki Nishimura and Anna Pinaeiva have also recorded three wins each to rank second on the Aggies.
• In doubles action,
Bella Nguyen and
Miranda Bishard lead the way with four victories while
Anna Pinaieva and
Lisa Zhu follow with three wins on the season.
UP NEXT
Following its trip to Las Vegas, the Aggies will return to action on Friday, March 10, when they play host to I-10 rival UTEP at the NM State Tennis Center. The match versus the Miners is scheduled to get underway at 10 a.m.
