THE FIRST SERVE
• Following a break of nearly three full weeks, the NM State men's tennis team hits the courts once again as the Aggies will be one of six teams taking part in the three-day Golden State Invitational co-hosted by Sacramento State and UC Davis.
• NM State's two-match swing in California begins Friday morning with an 11:00 a.m. MT showdown with Mountain West foe Nevada at the Sacramento State Tennis Courts. The Aggie will then duke it out with UC Davis at 11:00 a.m. MT Saturday morning from the Mayra Welch Tennis Center on the campus of UC Davis.
• In their most recent action, the Aggies upended Southland Conference power Texas A&M-Corpus Christi by a 4-1 score to wrap up their three-match run in the H-E-B Tournament of Champions in Corpus Christi, Texas, back on Sunday, Feb. 21.
• When it hits the courts against Nevada Friday morning, NM State will be hoping to win a second-straight match for the first time this season.
• Junior Louis Menard is the owner of a team-best 5-2 record in singles action for NM State. Menard has won each of his last three singles bouts In doubles action, Jordy Visser leads the team with four of the squad's seven total tandem triumphs.

SCOUTING NEVADA | ROSTER | SCHEDULE | STATISTICS
• Without a victory against an NCAA Division I opponent to its credit so far this season, the Wolfpack heads to California hoping to build on a 4-0 victory over Azusa Pacific back on Saturday, Feb. 27.
• In their last matchup with NM State, Nevada dropped a 4-2 decision to the Aggies on Sunday, March 12, 2017.
• Freshman Satchel Benn has captured a pair of singles victories for Nevada through its first four matches of the year.

SCOUTING UC DAVIS | ROSTER | SCHEDULE | STATISTICS
• Winners of their last four matches, the Aggies are eager to keep that streak alive when they host their first home matches in almost one month.
• In singles action, it's Arjith Jayaraman who is leading the charge for UC Davis. His five victories in one-on-one play are the highest total on the team, one more than Andrei Volgin who has gone 4-4 thus far.
• Doubles play has seen Volgin and Mitchell Davis become the Aggies' top tandem. Playing predominantly in the second flight, that pair has gone 6-1 and has been responsible for almost half of their team's 13 doubles wins.
• David Goulak and Ivan Thamma, UC Davis' top-flight tandem team, has gone 5-2 and that pairing has won its last three matches.
• In the most recent meeting between UC Davis and NM State, it was UC Davis who eked out a 4-3 victory back on Friday, March 8, 2019.

• WAC play looms for NM State with Phoenix, Ariz., serving as its first destination for league action. On Saturday, March 27, NM State tangles with league adversary UTRGV in Phoenix before battling Grand Canyon the following day.
