LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State women's tennis team once again heads up I-25 for neutral site match, this time against the Cougars of BYU on Saturday, March 10, at noon in #Aggiequerque.

Saturday's match will be played at the McKinnon Family Tennis Stadium on the campus of the University of New Mexico as the Aggies and Cougars duke it out.

BYU is 5-4 entering this weekend and 2-1 in West Coast Conference play. The Cougars are schedule to take on UNM on Friday, March 9, prior to their contest against the Aggies. BYU has a pair of players in Madeline Almedia and Kate Cusick with double-digit wins. Almedia is 12-5 on the season in singles action while Cusick is 12-9 overall.

However, Polina Malykh has the best mark on the team in dual play and sits at a perfect 6-0 with wins at the No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 slots this season. Cusick also has six wins in dual play, but also has three losses to her name, with four of her wins coming at the No. 4 position.

Yadira Rubio paces NM State in singles action with an 11-7 overall mark and 7-3 record in dual play. The Mexico City, Mexico, native plays predominantly at the No. 4 position for the Aggies but also has wins at the No. 3 and No. 5 slots with a 3-0 combined record in those positions.

Eli Arnaudova and
Lindsay Harlas both have seven wins to their name in singles play for NM State. Of the two, Harlas owns a 5-5 mark in dual action while Arnaudova is 3-5. In doubles play, NM State's best tandem is its top doubles team of Harlas and Rubio – who have six wins to their name with four coming in dual play.

The following week, New Mexico State hits the road for a pair of matches at UTSA (March 18) and Texas A&M – Kingsville (March 21) before starting Western Athletic Conference play.
