VAQUEROS ON HALLOWEEN
Saturday's contest against the UTRGV is slated for 6 p.m. Mountain on the WAC Digital Network. Last time out, the Aggies defeated the Vaqueros, 2-1, at the Soccer Athletic Complex. Audrey Chavez and Devin Hart each booted in a goal for NM State (5-13-0, 4-5-0 WAC) in the second half, including Hart's goal in the 88' to put the Aggies on top.

UTRGV secured the sixth and final spot this past Sunday when they downed Chicago State, 1-0, on the road. The Vaqueros are 4-11-3 on the year and 2-7-0 in conference play with both WAC victories coming against CSU.

LAST TIME OUT
The Aggies opened up last week's road trip with a 3-0 victory over Chicago State for their fourth conference win of the season. The four wins ties the young program's record for most wins in conference play with the inaugural 2009 squad, who went 4-5-1.

Two days later, NM State squared off against UMKC for an afternoon tilt. Despite the Aggies' constant pressure on defense, the Kangaroos came away with the 4-0 victory in their home finale.

MARTIN ENTERS RECORD BOOKS
Ashley Martin became the single-game saves record holder this past Sunday when she racked up 16 stops against UMKC. The 16 saves broke a six year record set by Katie Graul (14) back in 2009 against Idaho State.

FRESHMEN GAINING EXPERIENCE
With the regular season winding down, the sixteen true freshmen for the Aggies are beginning to get in the groove of things for head coach Freddy Delgado. Of the 11 point scorers for NM State, six are first-year players. Freshman Aileen Galicia leads the team with 12 points (5 goals, 2 assist) while sophomore Holly Abdelkader and freshman Sabrina Ruiz are tied for second with 11 points (4g, 3a).

LOOKING AHEAD
This year's WAC Tournament is scheduled to be played in Bakersfield, Calif., and hosted by the Roadrunners of CSU Bakersfield. With the tournament set to begin a week from Thursday, here is a look at what the potential match-ups could look like.

Win or lose against UTRGV on Saturday, the Aggies will face the host, CSU Bakersfield, on Thursday, Nov. 5, at 8 p.m. MT. A win means that NM State will be the No. 4 seed compared to the No. 5 seed should they lose to the Vaqueros.

The winner will then play the No. 1 seed, which will be decided this Saturday when Seattle U (7-0-2) and Utah Valley (7-1-1) duke it out in Seattle, Wash., on the WAC Digital Network.

RIVERA TRIES OUT FOR NATIONAL TEAM
Freshman defender, Dominique Rivera, became the first player in Aggie soccer program history to try out for a national team. The Albuquerque, N.M., native was invited to try out for the Puerto Rican U20 Women's National Team for two weeks in mid-October. Rivera was able to gain international experience playing against other U20 teams from Bermuda and the Dominican Republic.

ABDELKADER EARNS PRESEASON HONORS
Sophomore Holly Abdelkader was named to the WAC Preseason All-Conference team as voted on by the coaches. Abdelkader was the sole NM State player to earn the honor after racking up six points in 2014, tying Stephanie Petre for the team-high amongst players returning for the 2015 season. The elusive 5-3 midfielder recorded a pair of goals to go along with a pair of assists as a freshman. She also logged over 1,300 minutes on the field while starting in 12 of the 22 games she played in.
